Scott Riefler has over 45 years of cultivating/commercializing scientific and technological resources, first in Aerospace materials and now Food Ingredients.
Scott is the Chief Science Officer for SōRSE Technology, an innovation leader of materials development for beverage and edible product forms within the cannabis space. He joined SōRSE Technology in June of 2017, he and his team have developed a key water born platform for cannabinoid oils for the food, beverage, and nutraceutical industries.
This unique platform, branded as SōRSE, addresses all the major hurdles associated with transforming cannabinoid extracts as well as a wide range of adaptogens into workable ingredients for confection, food, beverage and topical matrixes. Functional attributes include water-based systems, perfect dosing, neutral and clean sensor, rapid and repeatable bio-absorption, and clean labeling.

Sarah Ahrens is CEO of True Labs for Cannabis, among the first laboratories in New Jersey fully dedicated to cannabis testing and the first certified woman-owned cannabis analytical laboratory on the East Coast. Sarah entered the cannabis space out of a passion for eating healthy, quality products, buying organic, and transparency in knowing what's in the products she buys for her family. Uniting a successful business background and a lifelong love of science, Sarah leads a scientific leadership team with more than 24 years of cannabis testing experience coming from 5 different states. She also serves as Chair of the Laboratory Testing Committee in the New Jersey CannaBusiness Association (NJCBA), advocating for best practices and safety in the Garden State's emerging cannabis industry.

Khadijah Tribble is one of the most respected experts on equity and inclusion in the cannabis industry. As a credible and forward-thinking founder and activist, she advises cannabis investors, government regulators, entrepreneurs and main-stream businesses.
Known as a committed advocate for fair and equitable policies for the betterment of veterans, LGBTQ, POC and individuals from marginalized communities, Khadijah has been on the forefront of interrupting systems for more than two decades.
Tribble is a savvy strategist and a dynamic leader known for her inspiring and passionate style. Whether giving Tedx talks or leading panel discussions, she empowers through educating everyone from the corporate boardroom to the operating rooms- that marijuana matters.
Prior to the mainstream discussion of cannabis, she took a huge risk to her reputation and brand by creating Marijuana Matters (M2), a cannabis education and advocacy incubator. M2 was created while Tribble was a Cheng Fellow at the Social Innovation and Change Initiative.
Khadijah Tribble has served on many boards and advisory groups, including Women in the Life Association, CTF Diversity and Inclusion Taskforce, Human Rights Campaign’s Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Board, Not for Profit Hospital (United Medical Center) Board of Directors, National LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce Supplier Diversity Committee and the Community Wellness Collective.
As Lab Director, Nick is responsible for the overall performance of Smithers’ IL cannabis testing laboratory. In addition to delivering results to customers, he is instrumental in developing and validating new methods in the continuously growing and evolving cannabis space. Nick joined Origo Labs in March 2020 and helped to build out the lab, instrumentation, and testing team. Origo Labs has been IEC/ISO 17025:2017 accredited since March 2021 and focuses on chemical and microbiological testing of cannabis products.
Nick earned a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Chicago in 2019 after spending his graduate career researching the electronic structure and quantum dynamics of semiconductor nanomaterials. In 2014, he was named a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow for his work using novel ultrafast spectroscopic techniques to inform the synthesis and engineering of low-dimensional materials.
Nick currently lives in Chicago, IL with his partner, Jess, and their two cats Reggie and Bosco. He enjoys kickboxing, card and role-playing games, softball, and baking.
